Michael Phillips –Brings more than 20 years of wine and winery sales experience to M26 Winery Marketing and Sales Management
Developing a passion for wine in the restaurant business, he furthered his knowledge and added a passion for sales to it as a distributor sales representative in the Northeast.
Mike then founded and ran a successful brokerage, “Vintage Northeast” in the Northeast for several years, focusing on profitably building the brands of a few select suppliers (Allied Domecq Wines, Blackstone, Bedford International, Seagrams Chateau & Estates Wine Co. and a portfolio of very small, allocated California wineries that included Dunn, Nalle, Goosecross, Eberle amongst others).
Mike has since worked as a Region Manager for Kendall-Jackson Wine Estates, Eastern Regional Manager for Martin Ray Winery, and as the National Sales Manager for Regusci Winery and the Nine North Wine Company.
Mike is married to Elizabeth who is the NSM for another Napa winery; together they reside in the Northeast with their three children, 4 Labrador retrievers, and 3 horses.
Phillips is a graduate of The State University of New York at Plattsburgh with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Geography and (fortunately) loves to travel!
